Law’s role in sustainable globalization: crises, tragedy & transformative possibilities
Law is both enmeshed in the (re)production of multiple and accelerating crises: ecological, economic and social, and is necessary for building a sustainable globalization. The Transformative Effects of Globalization in Law (TEGL)-a collaborative network of Dutch law schools working on law and globalization-is organizing a two-day event on June 22 & 23, 2023 on these issues, featuring the keynotes of two leading critical thinkers: Radha D’Souza and Ece Temelkuran. We invite scholars, especially early career scholars and those from underrepresented backgrounds, to contribute to the conference by submitting an abstract by February 15th, 2023.
