On 11 – 15 January 2021, a series of webinars devoted to the upcoming volume “EU Environmental Principles and Scientific Uncertainty before National Courts—the Case of the Habitats Directive” (Hart 2021) took place. The event comprised multiple engaging sessions, where the authors of chapters discussed approaches of Member States’ courts to evaluation of scientific evidence. The speakers also shared insights into a broader impact of the emerging jurisprudence on EU environmental law. Prof. dr. Mariolina Eliantonio (Maastricht University), who co-edited the volume, presented an introduction to the project.
